Brought to you by the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit’s Cyber Crime Protect. The aim of this event is to raise the awareness of cyber security issues within organisations and how to protect yourself from being a victim or victimised further. Cyber criminals have identified that SME’s are a highly lucrative target due to the limited investment and resources available for cyber security compared to corporations and multi-nationals.
A Police Cyber Security Advisor from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit who cover the areas of Thames Valley, Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex will deliver this presentation. The aim is to promote cyber awareness among the business community in line with the National Cyber Security Strategy 2016 – 2021.

· Identity theft with regards to your online footprint and digital dirt
· Latest trends, threats and vulnerabilities
· Cyber frauds and scams
· Advice on cyber security issues and raising awareness with staff
· Password management and social engineering with regards to reducing the insider threat
In the ever changing world of Cybercrime, this presentation will raise awareness of the threats posed by Cyber criminals to small and medium business and suggest some solutions to mitigate the ever changing risks.
